Lynn Elaine Nock Culey

Lynn is a 1985 graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She graduated with honor and distinction and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is a life member of the Alumni Association.

After her graduation she established a vocational training program for chronically mentally ill adults in Sioux Falls, SD and also worked in a practicum program for clinical psychology graduate students at the University of Wisconsin Madison.

She married Shawn Robert Culey M.D. on 3/7/87. She has two children: Allison Catherine born 3/14/90 and Aaron Constant born 11/15/93. At present she is devoting her time to her children and her community. She lives in Dell Rapids, SD (population 2500). She is very active in her church and has served as Community Development Vice President of the local Jaycees. She has made generous contributions of time and money to the community library the local Toys for Tots program Meals on Wheels and the public schools. She started and continues to oversee a Welcome Packet service which supplies information to people who are new in the community. She is also active in city government. When there is a need in her community in her family or among her friends Lynn can be counted on to help fill that need.
