Macy Marie Pollard is a spring 2021 graduate of Iowa State University where she obtained a degree in genetics with a minor in psychology. During her time at Iowa State, Macy made her love for her school known as she was a four-year dedicated member of the Iowa State University Cyclone Football 'Varsity' Marching Band in the clarinet section, as well as serving as the 2020-2021 president of the Theta Xi chapter of Tau Beta Sigma. Macy is and always will be proud to be a Cyclone, so much that she gave campus tours for three years as a Student Admissions Representative in the Office of Admissions. Macy always enjoyed sharing her excitement about campus with the future classes of incoming Cyclones. Facing a time of adversity and challenges of being a student in 2020, Macy also made time to work in the COVID lab in VetMed where she pioneered the techniques of COVID testing alongside her colleagues. Throughout her time in school she received endless amount of support from her mother Kerri, her father Robert, and her brother Gregory. She will always be grateful for the amount of wonderful experiences and meaningful relationships emerged from her years as a Cyclone.
