Teacher, Coach, Leader and Mentor, Margaret is a full time Spanish teacher and cheerleading coach at Denver High School, Denver, Iowa. Margaret is also certified to teach French and English and has previously taught in Gladbrook and Nashua Community Schools.
In her home town of Waverly-Shell Rock she originated and taught as a volunteer a Spanish program for the elementary grade levels. Margaret has conducted special language classes and tutoring sessions for adults and organized and led several cultural diversity trips to Mexico for adults and students. As head cheerleading coach at Denver High she is responsible for the cheerleaders supporting all major sports programs at the varsity and junior varsity levels. Her involvement and support of summer cheerleading camps at Iowa State University was rewarded with a Waverly-Shell Rock group qualifying for national competition in Dallas Texas. Margaret is a dedicated and professional teacher and her love for helping students learn and develop is boundless.
