Marian Joan McGuire Will was born in Algona Iowa June 23, 1926, to John T. and Zelda M. McGuire.
She graduated from Algona High School and attended Cornell College and the University of Colorado.
She married Cecil L. Will December 19, 1947, and they have three sons: John, Tim, and Mark.
She was a Cub Scout Den Mother for many years, active in the League of Women Voters, and served on the Algona Planning and Zoning Board.
She served on Regional Mental Health Boards, held office in the Board of Friends of Iowa Public Television, worked with the Brunier Museum Foundation, and received the Order of the Knoll from Iowa State University.
She traveled extensively in Europe, China, and Japan. She now resides in the Algona Manor.
