Marilyn Jean Brown Hopkey (Mrs. Edward D. Hopkey) '68 CD/EIEd We placed this brick in honor of a wonderful wife mother teacher and volunteer. The daughter of Phyllis Brown who is also honored in the Plaza and J. Verald Brown she represents the second generation of proud ISU graduates. We honor you for your undying love and support your firm beliefs and never-ending concern for others. Marilyn was raised in Hampton Iowa. They farmed near Alexander Iowa for 25 years while Marilyn taught at CAL Community School. They moved to Storm Lake Iowa in 1993 where she continues to teach.
