After graduating from Iowa State with a degree in Home Economics, Muriel has remained a supporter of the University throughout the years. In addition to working for many years in the Registrar's Office in Beardshear Hall, she has also been an a loyal fan of the football and men's and women's basketball programs. But her greatest legacy is her commitment to making sure the next two generations of women in the family received their degrees from Iowa State. Her daughters, Mary and Patty, and granddaughter Kelly have all received degrees from Iowa State and a second granddaughter, Emily, will graduate next year.
