Patricia Ann Campbell was a treasured friend and colleague to the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Iowa State University!
Patty will long be remembered for her dedicated service to the Department and the University, but most importantly for her contributions to the lives of those who knew her. Patty was a dedicated mother of two daughters, Kristen and Kelly, who were more important to her than anyone on this earth. We thought it was very fitting to honor Patty along with her daughters with bricks on the Plaza of Heroines. Reflecting on memories of Patty, many people recall an outstanding dedication to family. We all knew the names and many details of each of her family members and enjoyed hearing about them. Patty was always just as interested to hear about the families of others and always ready to lend a listening ear. We hope that Patty’s family and friends will find comfort and be honored by the bricks in the Plaza of Heroines for Patty, Kelly, and Kristen.
