Impact on Women and Science:
Scientific research can be wonderfully exciting, especially at that breathtaking moment when one wrests a closely-guarded secret from Nature's grasp. I have always tried to show this by example to the young women whom I have taught, both in the classroom setting and in the setting of the research laboratory.
