Patsy was born in Chongqing, China and educated in Hong Kong. She moved to British Columbia, Canada where she worked and raised a family.
A trained registered nurse, Patsy worked at the local hospital. At her retirement, she was the Team Leader responsible for running the Operating Room Department.
Patsy lives with her husband Cyril Tsou in Richmond, BC, Canada, where they have spent the last forty plus years. She travels, meets with her friends, plays Mahjong, and always enjoys the frequent visits from her out of town children and granddaughter. Her daughter Adrienne Tsou-Lee is a geographical information systems (GIS) analyst who lives with her family in Toronto, ON, Canada. Her son Jonathan Tsou teaches philosophy at Iowa State University.
