The League of Women Voters of Black Hawk-Bremer Counties established an award in 2007 named the Rachel Fulton Public Service Award. This award was first presented to Rachel Fulton in recognition of her service to local citizens and her significant contributions to the League of Women Voters. The award is given annually to a member of League of Women Voters of Black Hawk-Bremer Counties who exemplifies Rachel Fulton's community service and leadership in the work of League of Women Voters. A brick in the Plaza of Heroines has been given annually for each recipient of this award since 2007.
