RUBY WILDMAN an Iowa native and an Ames resident since 1943 has always been a strong supporter of Iowa State University. She was employed by the ISU Printing Service from 1955 to 1982, when she retired. With her husband, Robert 0. Wildman (foreman of the ISU Press for 39 years), she raised three children: Gretchen, Janet and John. Her two daughters, Gretchen Finn, ISU '64, and Janet Andre, NTU '66, are particularly grateful to Ruby for imparting in them a strong work ethic and a feminine "can do" philosophy. They wish to honor her by including her name on this roll of heroines.
