The following individuals and families are honoring Ruth Miller Jones for her outstanding contributions to her piano students, her church (Northminster Presbyterian Church) and her community, particularly her leadership of the Ames League of Women Voters where she served as president 1993-95 and again 2002-2004. She received the Carrie Chapman Award from the Ames League of Women Voters in 2004. She served as president of the Ames Town and Gown Music Association, and served on the Ames Arts Council. She now lives in Oak Park Heights, Minn.

President, Ames League of Women Voters, 1993-1995 and again in 2002-2004. Received the Carrie Chapman Catt Award from the Ames League in 2004. President, Ames Town and Gown Music Association, and member, Ames Arts Council, and a partner in the Beyond Welfare Program. She served as organist/pianist at Northminster Church for many years. She now lives in Oak Pak Heights, MN.
