Ruth (Maneval) Keister

I am honoring my mother, Ruth, because of her fierce loyalty to me as her son--through thick and thin. She has always been my greatest supporter. While she never had an easy life growing up on a rural farm in Pennsylvania, she always provided for me even when it meant going without for herself. She encouraged and inspired me to go to college even when others were discouraging. As the first person in my family to hold a college degree, I know much of my personal inspiration came from my mother. For that I am forever grateful.
