Susan, daughter of Betty Ann and Dennis Keeney, is an accomplished physical therapy specialist at a clinic in Needham, Massachusetts. Susan was born in Ames April 11, 1966 moved with her parents to Middleton, Wisconsin in 1967. Her bright and cheery attitude gained her many friends and admirers during her time there and during highly successful career she has established. Susan was a pioneer in woman’s sports. She was an All-American in high school cross country and track and completed in numerous national meets during her high school career. She received a full scholarship to Northwestern University where she competed for four years in cross country and track.

A heroine in the truest sense she pursued an athletic career in a world where men dominated. Married to her high school sweetheart and MIT graduate she pursued a M. S. in physical therapy at Boston University and now is a leader in the sports therapy clinic close to their home in Needham. She competes regularly in races throughout the Northeast U.S.
