I wish to honor Velma W. Raynes for her book Campus Sketches of Iowa State College - published in 1949 by the Iowa State College Press. I wish to honor her for the deep friendship between her and my mother, Grace F. Kinndam, and my sister, G. Margarite Barley. She was a dear person and a personal friend.
